We wanted to visualise how principles such as hierarchy and didactics emerge in three-dimensional space. Certain lengths of squared timber were used efficiently by standardising the lengths and adapting them to the widths of the paper.
To support the up-close and distant effect of the nettle, we have used bold typography and dotted the illustrations with dots that only become visible on closer inspection.
Sound and analogue elements add to the immersive experience created by the oversized nettles.
We tested the display of information and colour by printing test samples. We also tested legible text sizes and heights.
